Bio
Saltsman has worked as a freelance creative administrator for 15 years, with experience spanning for-profit and non-profit ventures, and a career focus on arts management supporting the work of musicians and performing arts presentation. She has a strong interest in the interaction of American cultural history with the public, specifically that of the Progressive era on the female experience.
Saltsman holds a BA in Visual Arts from Oberlin College and a BMus in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory. She was previously on the Special Events team at the Americas Society and Council of Americas where annual gala attendees included South American financial and political leaders as well as key figures in American finance, and has also worked on the Development Team at Intersections International where she oversaw the community engagement with the organization's flagship art installation and completed donor research. Saltsman was formerly a managerial assistant at Columbia Artist Management, the oldest music management company in the United States, and at Grassy Hill Entertainment, where she managed musician's tours here and in the UK. She currently serves on the advisory board of esaNewYork, a grassroots organization dedicated to educating and empowering consumers in the realm of sustainable fashion.
