When she trains a lens on her subject, she feels has the extreme privilege of inhabiting a distilled moment in time together with that subject. In that moment, both photographer and subject are free from the constraints of an always-on, digitally saturated life.

Freelance, Editorial and Product Photography:
I specialize in collaborations with local businesses who want their craft captured in an authentic way. This could be (but not limited to) farms, breweries, florists, artists, painters, and craftsmen. Photos can include headshots as well as on-site photographs capturing your product; you at work and/or your clientele at your place of business. Prices range from $500-$1200 depending on the scope of your project. Please contact me directly to discuss details.
Family Sessions:
Family sessions are held in/around your home or an outdoor location of your choice. I particularly encourage arranging a photoshoot around a family tradition, especially around the holidays. Does your family have a tradition that you make sure you carve out time for, now matter how filled your calendar gets? Whatever it is, I want to capture those memories for you.
We’ll spend about 1 1/2 hours together. Family sessions are for immediate family members [up to 5 people] with an additional charge of $25 for each additional member. Pets can also take part in the session! Sessions are relaxed, playful and most of all, fun! We’ll plan the session around a short activity or tradition that’s special to your family [pancake breakfast, bedtime stories, Christmas tree trimming, a picnic, apple picking, hiking, music-making, etc.] I’ll be shooting and you’ll be playing [with a just a teensy bit of direction] so that you come away with photos that are meaningful to your family.
What it includes:
*1 1/2 hour session in your home or an outdoor location of your choice
*20 high resolution, fully-retouched images prepared for download through a private link

I am an on-location natural light photographer [which means I will come to your home, business, favorite spot in town, etc]. I do not use a studio. The best time for outdoor sessions are typically 2 hours before sunset. Indoor sessions can be held any time of the day. Sessions are mainly held in the Mid-Hudson Valley and Manhattan [travel within 25 miles of zip codes 12572 and 10016 is included in your session fee].
What do I need to bring to the session?
Whatever you want to have photographed! My style is very natural and relaxed, and I want capture your subject in the most authentic way possible. There is very little posing involved so that your photos convey genuine emotion and connection.
