Hi! I'm Leighanne, and this website is a portfolio of my work. I create in several genres, and everything I produce incorporates elements of anthropology, history, user-experience design, and place-making. I believe the goal of this project we call "life" is the creation of beauty, for ourselves and for others.
I am a classically trained singer, visual artist and freelance creative with 15 years experience spanning for-profit and non-profit ventures. My career focus has been on arts management supporting the work of musicians and performing arts presenters. I am currently writing a musical set during the American Progressive Era and running a 1/4 acre homestead located in the Hudson Valley. I also dabble in front-end web design, home organizing, trip + travel planning.
I hold a a B.A. in Visual Art from Oberlin College and a B.Mus in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory.
